The best fish market in the South Bay. Always great food and great time eating there. It can be busy but well woth the wait. Good beer selections to go along with the food.

A fresh fish market that will also cook your meal to order in a super casual environment. Great for families. It's not inexpensive, but the food is always great.

The rice and coleslaw sides were bland and tasteless. The seafood quality was no better than from a chain but way more expensive. Only good thing was the friendly customer service.

If you love seafood and you haven't been, you need to bring a few bucks and check this place out! Not cheap, but you actually get what you pay for! Soooo good!

Have been eating here since 1980. The food has been very good to outstanding. The prices has also gone up quite a bit, but so has gas prices. In life, you get what you pay for. I don't come everyday but about once a month. So, after more than 39 years eating here, I can say, come and enjoy.

I'v been coming here for a few years.Whenever I'm in town I make sure to stop in for some fish & chips/New England clam chowder. Also the baja style fish tacos are awesome!Always fresh and most importantly consistent with quality.

I frequent this special restaurant from time to time as I like the special air that is part of this restaurant. The personel is exceptionally loving and skilfull. The service is impressively fast. Also, the food they prepare is great. I frequent more than once and I was always delighted. The cost is fair. I highly suggest this place to my friends and family.

Nice and unpretentious restaurant. Good variety of seafood and some other dishes for people who don't like fish. My fried calamari were delicious, and were not too oily, as sometimes happens if they reuse the oil many times.You order at the counter, where they're friendly and helpful. Then you choose a table at the back and wait your number to be called. My only concern was it took too long for our food to be ready, but I guess it's because everything is fresh and cooked to order. I recommend it.

First time here visiting from Texas. This place is really cool! So many options on seafood and how to prepare it. Had the lobster roll, bisque, and oysters. Everything was great but just not quite 5 stars IMHO. I would return and recommend this place!

There food is of great quality!! It normally has quiet a big line and a waiting time for your order but definitely worth it!

Great take out fish and chips

Great neighborhood haunt with fresh seafood and fantastic views. I love the dog-friendly patio so our furry grandchild can be included on the fun. There can be a wait sometimes but it's only because they are making the food fresh to order. We've been going here for years and the quality has still remained top notch. This is definitely one of the best seafood establishments in LA County!

Food is good. Staff will give samples of anything if you have questions. Staff is extremely friendly and hospitable.

I’m from the east coast where I learned to love seafood. All kinds. This place has great selection and a chill atmosphere. Highly recommend if you are a pure seafood lover!!

I've been eating Captain Kidd's ever since my mom took me there in the early 90s. it's a counter-service restaurant where you can also order fresh fish to be cooked you can actually pick out the piece of fish that you want cook just fantastic. I commonly order the peel and eat shrimp with ghee butter and a chelada to wash it down. my son loves their kids meal and my wife loves the sourdough bread bowl with clam chowder. It's definitely a family restaurant that we visit monthly.

This has been my FAVORITE place to come to since I was a kid. The food is cooked fresh and you get to choose your fish before they cook it. My go to is always the new England clam chowder in a bread bowl.

Great fresh seafood, but you pay a lot. Family of 6 (4 kids) set us back over a hundred bucks but wow was it good! Old school vibe and a quick walk to the beach or pier.

This place is legendary! All their seafood is delicious you really cant go wrong. Good seating area for bigger groups. I also like to take work meetings here, good vibe for anything really and the staff is always cool. Great work over there!

Love to go there at the end of a day when the sun sets. Super fresh fish, you can choose yourself and they will prepare. Together with a nice cold Corona and i'm happy.

Just had a snack for Good Friday. The calimari was delicious. Can't wait til dinner. Ordered the salmon plate and the fish chip for hubby!!! Thank you so much !!!!

Always a GREAT place to eat. We've been coming here for over 35 years maybe longer! Came with my parents then my wife and I with our kids.

The food is as fresh as it gets & portions are generous. Loved the lobster bisque and even something as generic as fish & chips was special. It is so good you will go to the bathroom & throw up just to fit more in your belly! Yumm Yumm Good! The surroundings are low key & comfortable with great views. It's all about the food, Baby!

Food was ok. Shrimp tacos were good, fish and chips were okay and the New England clam chowder was not good. For the price we expected better tasting food. Service was good. Otherwise I would have given only 2 stars.
